Description

The painting represented in this bag is taken from a photograph of Inge Prader, Austrian photographer, which he created an art project during the fundraising for AIDS, within the event called Life Ball, held in Vienna.

They seem copies of the original signed works by Gustav Klimt, Austrian painter who lived between the end of ‘800 and early’ 900 counted among the leading exponents of Art Nouveau, but are in fact photographs, made with models of flesh and blood in the same identical poses of the protagonists of the Klimt painting.

What we have decided to represent is the photographic copy of the painting Danae, of 1907-08, which touches on various issues including the mythology and eroticism.
